Job summary

Profile Middle East LLC is seeking an experienced Process Engineer for a 6-month assignment in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on process simulations, heat and material balance, flare analysis, and the preparation of PFDs, P&IDs, and operating manuals.

The candidate will work under the Lead Process Engineer, coordinating with PMT and discipline engineers, and will contribute to key deliverables across the project scope.

Qualifications

• 15 years’ experience in oil and gas.
• Offshore wellhead/process platform experience.
• Knowledge of process engineering design and key documents (PFD, P&ID).
• Process simulation with Hysys/Unisim and flare load calculations with Aspen FlareNet.
• Monitor scope changes and coordinate with PMT and discipline engineers.

Responsibilities

• Carry out process engineering work under supervision of Lead Process Engineer.
• Prepare/check key deliverables as per the scope of work.
• Liaise with PMT and other Discipline Engineers on the project.

Job description

Duration: 6 Months Extendable based on the project requirement

Basic Functions:

• Carry out process engineering work on the assigned project under the supervision of the Lead Process Engineer on the assigned project.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• 15 years’ experience in oil and gas
• Experience with offshore wellhead /process platform experience
• Knowledge of process engineering design. Understanding process documents as applicable including process descriptions, process data sheets, PFD, P&ID.
• Process Simulation using Hysys/Unisim and flare load calculation using Aspen Flarenet.
• Become fully familiar with scope of work. Monitor changes to scope and raises change notifications.
• Liaise with PMT and other Discipline Engineers on the project as directed by the Lead Engineer.
• Responsible for preparation / checking of the following key deliverables, applicable as per the

Project scope:

• Process simulations / heat and material balance.
• Flare Relief and Blowdown calculations.
• Piping and instrument diagrams.
• Safe charts.
• Operating philosophy and operating manual.
• Equipment and instrument process datasheets.
• Depressurization and flare network study.
