Job summary

Met T&S Ltd. in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Project Engineer to support the Project Engineering Manager in coordinating project activities, ensuring deadlines and budget adherence on EPC oil, gas and petrochemical projects.

The role involves supervising multidisciplinary activities, reporting status and risks to the PEM, and contributing to the definition and application of coordination and engineering execution procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years experience in EPC projects in oil, gas and petrochemical industry.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise multidisciplinary activities to meet budget and schedule.
• Report status, planning and issues to the PEM.
• Support PEM in defining coordination and execution procedures.
• Ensure project documents quality per contract requirements.
• Support PEM in selecting technical solutions and ensuring feasibility.

Job description

Toco-operate with the Project Engineering Manager (PEM) in the ProjectEngineering Activities coordination, guaranteeing that the deadlines, as wellas the budget on the assigned activities, are respected.

Duties and responsibilities

As project team member :

• To supervise specificmulti-disciplinary activities and critical engineering cycles attainingto the contract’s budget, as well as to the project’s execution timing.
• To report to PEM concerning thestatus, planning and crucial issues of the activities she/he has beenassigned to.
• To support the PEM in the definitionand preparation of the co-ordination and engineering project executionprocedures.
• To ensure the multidisciplinaryproject documents quality, in accordance with the contract requirementsand respecting the assigned budget and executing project deadlines.
• To support the PEM in the definitionof the project basic technical choices, identifying the best solutions,from a technical, economical and temporal point of view, guaranteeingthem. Completeness and accuracy, on the basis of the technicalspecifications and guidelines of the assigned project.

As a department member the PE responsibilities are:

• To support the PEM and the Head ofDepartment in guaranteeing the continuous updating and application ofthe standards, the procedures, and the operative instructions both ofthe Department and of the Company.
• Tocompare and exchange experiences with her/his colleagues (PE) among theGroup Companies
• Topromote the professional growth of other internal resources in his ownDepartment and also of other Departments, holding specific trainingcourses when required, in accordance with his own Department demand.
• To be up to date about thedevelopments and progressions of his own Department

Experience
