Job summary

ALEC Technologies in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior BIM Modeler (ELV) to develop, coordinate, and maintain high-quality BIM models and documentation for ELV systems. You will work with BIM Coordinators, engineers, consultants, and site teams to ensure deliverables meet LOD requirements and BIM standards.

The role involves mentoring junior BIM professionals, leading modelling activities for project zones, and driving modelling excellence across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years BIM/Revit modelling experience, with 5+ years in ELV systems.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of ELV systems (Structured Cabling, CCTV, Access Control, AV, PAVA, SMATV/IPTV, GRMS, BMS).
• Solid knowledge of BIM standards and LOD 100–500.
• Experience producing coordinated shop drawings and construction documentation.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM models for ELV systems (CCTV, Access Control, AV, PAVA, GRMS, BMS).
• Create accurate 3D Revit models from design mark‑ups and drawings.
• Produce coordinated routing layouts for cable trays and installations.
• Prepare shop drawings, builder's work drawings, sleeves, installation details, and composite drawings.
• Export model views, perform clash checks, and support model validation.
• Maintain model quality with naming conventions and data hygiene.
• Mentor junior BIM Modelers on standards and workflows.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure constructability and coordination.
