Job summary

Sundus in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Senior Technician to ensure the safe, reliable operation of CNC machines, SPMs and related production equipment. The role covers electrical installation, troubleshooting, preventive/corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, reliability improvement and technical support for CNC, PLC, servo, spindle and control systems.

Candidates should have a Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, at least 7 years' hands-on experience in industrial

Qualifications

Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 7 years' hands-on electrical maintenance in manufacturing.
Strong experience with CNC machines, PLCs, servo/spindle drives and motors.
Expertise in electrical troubleshooting, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Experience guiding junior technicians and coordinating OEM/contractor activities.
Knowledge of electrical drawings, PLC I/O, CNC systems and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair and maintain CNC machines and electrical/control equipment.
Diagnose complex faults and conduct root cause analysis.
Troubleshoot CNC controls, PLCs, HMI systems and electrical panels.
Maintain servo and spindle drives, motors, encoders and feedback systems.
Maintain electrical power distribution components and machine safety circuits.
Perform preventive maintenance and electrical testing with appropriate instruments.
Support installation, relocation, commissioning and reinstallation of machines.
Coordinate with OEMs/contractors for complex issues and ensure compliance with LOTO and safety rules.
Document records in SAP/CMMS and mentor junior technicians.
