Job summary

Sundus is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician in Abu Dhabi to ensure the reliable and safe operation of CNC machines and associated equipment. The technician will perform mechanical installation, inspection, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• 5 years hands-on experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician.

Responsibilities

• 5 years of hands‑on experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician in an industrial manufacturing environment, with practical experience in CNC machines, industrial machinery, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, rotating equipment and preventive/corrective maintenance.
• The Mechanical Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliable, safe and efficient operation of CNC machines, SPMs and associated production equipment through mechanical installation, inspection, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance.
• The role is responsible for maintaining machine mechanical systems including spindles, bearings, ball screws, linear guideways, gearboxes, couplings, tool changers, pallet changers, chucks, fixtures, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, lubrication and coolant systems.
• The role supports equipment reliability, availability and production continuity while ensuring compliance with safety, quality and operational standards.
