Job summary

EDGE is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance of CNC machines, SPMs, and production equipment in a high-performance manufacturing environment in Abu Dhabi.

The role focuses on preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance, with a strong emphasis on root-cause analysis and reliability improvements, while leading maintenance teams and coordinating with OEMs and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of CNC mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.
• Experience with preventive, corrective, TPM, and reliability-centered maintenance.
• Familiarity with maintenance planning, spare parts management, MTTR/MTBF and KPIs.
• Good understanding of HSE, LOTO, and safe maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily mechanical maintenance for CNCs, SPMs, and production equipment.
• Lead preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance per schedules.
• Monitor breakdowns, allocate resources, minimize downtime.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and support complex repairs.
• Oversee maintenance of spindles, bearings, gears, ATC/APC, and clamping systems.
• Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and suppliers for specialist support.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in SAP/CMMS.
