Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks an experienced Electrical Inspector to join the site supervision team for villa and township developments. You will ensure electrical works meet drawings, specifications, and safety standards, coordinating with contractors and authorities to close NCRs and ensure timely delivery.

The role requires 7–10 years in electrical inspection, strong knowledge of LV distribution, earthing, and ELV systems, plus familiarity with ITPs and QA/QC processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in electrical inspection.
• Experience with villa developments, gated communities, and residential infrastructure.
• Knowledge of IEC/NEC and local authority regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems across villas and township infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, project specs, and local regulations.
• Review layouts, schematics, shop drawings, and method statements for site compliance.
• Monitor installation of cabling, DBs, lighting, earthing, and LV/ELV systems.
• Identify NCRs and advise corrective/preventive actions.
• Verify testing and commissioning activities including insulation resistance and continuity.
• Prepare inspection reports, snag lists, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors and project teams to resolve site issues.
• Ensure HSE standards and safe work practices on site.
• Monitor progress against construction schedules and quality benchmarks.
• Participate in site meetings and inspections with authorities.
