The Electrical Technical Engineer role at Azizi Developments in Dubai is a senior technical position within high-rise and large-scale building construction projects, responsible for managing electrical and ELV engineering activities from design review through execution and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete engineering process for all Electrical and ELV systems across assigned projects
• Review IFC electrical designs and ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations and project specifications
• Lead and manage a team of 10 to 15 draftsmen responsible for shop drawings and as-built drawings
• Prepare detailed engineering calculations required during construction stages
• Coordinate closely with mechanical, civil, architectural, and structural engineering teams
• Prepare and review material submittals, engineering drawings, calculations, and related technical documentation
• Handle DEWA submissions and ensure compliance with DEWA, DCD, and Etisalat regulations
• Review purchase requests from project teams for technical and specification compliance
• Develop detailed shop drawings and electrical and ELV layouts in line with IFC drawings and project requirements
• Prepare equipment control philosophies aligned with approved designs and specifications
• Provide continuous technical support to site and project teams from design through execution and handover
• Maintain detailed logs for materials, shop drawings, RFIs, and engineering documentation
• Prepare Bills of Quantities and support cost and quantity verification
• Raise and respond to RFIs in coordination with consultants and internal teams
• Prepare RFPs for procurement and follow up closely on technical clarifications
• Coordinate daily with site management to address ongoing technical requirements
• Attend site and coordination meetings to discuss engineering deliverables and project progress

• Minimum 8 years of UAE experience exclusively with contracting companies
• Strong background in residential, commercial, or high-rise building construction projects
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• In-depth knowledge of UAE electrical codes and authority requirements, including DEWA
