Job summary

EDGE in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Technical Expert to contribute to the design, validation, and integration of electrical systems for defence and automotive applications. You will translate customer requirements into clear specifications and support cross-functional teams across engineering disciplines.

Required are a Bachelor in Electrics/Electronics, 5–10 years of experience, and proficiency in IEC/IEEE standards, CLP programming, and CAD tools such as EPLAN or Creo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrics, Electronics, Software Engineering, Physics or related field.
• Five to ten years of experience in relevant roles.
• Defense industry experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into clear technical and project specifications.
• Contribute to design, development, and validation of electrical systems.
• Support cross-functional collaboration for system integration and standards compliance.
• Participate in prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting activities with hands-on approach.
