Job summary

EDGE in Abu Dhabi seeks a hands-on electrical engineer to design LV/MV switchgear and power distribution systems for automotive and industrial use, using EPLAN, WSCAD, Creo or equivalent CAD tools.

You will translate customer requirements into clear specifications, contribute to design, development and validation, and collaborate across functions to ensure system integration and adherence to IEC/IEEE standards. English proficiency and a UAE driving license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrics, Electronics, Software Engineering, Physics or related field.
• Five to ten years of experience; defense industry experience is advantageous.
• English communication skills required; UAE driving license preferred.
• Microsoft Office knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into clear technical specifications.
• Contribute to design, development, and validation of electrical systems.
• Support cross functional collaboration for system integration and compliance.
• Participate in prototyping, testing, and hands-on troubleshooting.
