Job summary

EDGE, based in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a Senior Electronic Hardware Engineer with 7–10 years in defense electronics. You will design, simulate, and validate power conversion devices and motor drives for automotive/industrial applications.

Responsibilities include translating customer requirements into technical specs, contributing to hardware architecture, prototyping, testing, and ensuring compliance with IPC/ MIL-STD standards, with a hands-on, cross-functional approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics engineering or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience; defense industry experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into clear and structured technical and project specifications.
• Contribute to the design, development, and validation of electrical systems in accordance with project and customer requirements.
• Support cross-functional collaboration to ensure system integration and compliance with applicable standards.
• Participate in prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting activities with a hands-on approach.
