Job summary

EDGE Group PJSC, a UAE-based defence technology leader, seeks engineers with strong power electronics design, simulation, and testing experience. You will work across DC/DC/DC-AC converters, inverters, and motor drives, from concept through validation, using Altium, Cadence, Mentor, or KiCAD tools.

Applicants should have 7–10 years in related fields, plus a degree in Electric/Electronics/Software or Physics.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Electric/Electronics or related field; Master preferred.
7–10 years of experience in required domain.
Experience in Defense Industry is an advantage.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
English communication ability in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

Design, simulate, and test power conversion devices (DC/DC, DC/AC, SMPS, Inverter, Motor Drives).
Use electronic CAD tools for schematic/PCB design and docs (Altium, Cadence, Mentor, KiCAD).
Contribute to hardware development lifecycle from concept to validation in automotive/industrial contexts.
Address EMI/EMC design and compliance in applicable environments.
Translate customer requirements into clear technical specs; support system integration.
Prototype, test, and troubleshoot with hands-on approach.
