Job summary
GINCO Cont. Co. LLC in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Electrical BIM Engineer to develop and coordinate electrical BIM models using Revit. You will model containment, lighting, power, and routing, and ensure accurate coordination with MEP and structural disciplines.
The role involves clash detection with Navisworks, preparing shop drawings, and updating models per approvals, RFIs, and revisions, while supporting installation teams on BIM-related queries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
- 5-8+ years of electrical BIM experience.
- Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction drawings and BIM coordination workflows.
- UAE/GCC project experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop electrical BIM models using Revit and related BIM tools.
- Model electrical containment lighting power cable routing and other applicable systems.
- Coordinate electrical models with mechanical plumbing HVAC and structural disciplines.
- Perform clash detection using Navisworks and support clash resolution.
- Prepare coordinated shop drawings sections layouts and schedules.
- Update models in line with approved drawings RFIs and design revisions.
- Support site teams with BIM-related technical queries and installation coordination.
