Job summary

Fatherson International FZE seeks an experienced Electrical BIM professional to develop and manage 3D BIM models in Revit MEP for high-rise, villa, commercial, and residential projects. You will lead coordination with HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, architectural and structural teams, ensuring clash-free models and compliant drawings.

The role requires 3–5 years of BIM experience in UAE/GCC contexts, strong communication, and ability to resolve clashes before construction.

Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical/MEP Drafting, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant Electrical BIM experience.
Consultant experience is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of electrical MEP systems and BIM coordination.
Experience with high-rise buildings, villas, commercial and residential projects.
UAE/GCC project experience preferred.
Good understanding of MEP coordination, clash detection, and construction drawings.
Strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong 3D Electrical BIM models using Revit MEP.
Prepare electrical layouts and coordinated models based on approved design drawings and specifications.
Model and coordinate Lighting and emergency lighting systems; small power, MDB/SMDB/DB layouts.
Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks Manage.
Coordinate electrical services with HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Architectural and Structural disciplines.
Prepare coordinated drawings and documentation for consultant approval and construction.
