You will stay updated on CAD software advancements and maintain organized documentation of drawings and revisions. Strong leadership and attention to detail are essential for timely, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in CAD drafting within construction or fit-out projects.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and related design tools.

SCOPE:

The Senior Draughtsman (fit-out) is responsible for producing detailed technical drawings and plans, providing guidance to the drafting team, and ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Technical Drawing:

• Produce detailed technical drawings, plans, and diagrams based on project requirements and design specifications.

Team Supervision:

• Provide guidance and mentorship to draughtsman, overseeing their work quality and adherence to standards.

Quality Assurance:

• Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design standards.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into technical drawings.

Software Proficiency:

• Utilize CAD software proficiently, implementing best practices and innovative techniques to improve efficiency.

Documentation:

• Maintain organized documentation of drawings, revisions, and design changes.

Primary Deliverables:

• Precise and On Time submission of any type of documents/reports/data.
• Complete tasks efficiently and stay within budget as part of your job responsibilities

Secondary Deliverables:

• Provide input to other departments or parties as needed on time.
