The role requires 6-8 years in CAD drafting within construction or fit-out, proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

SCOPE:

The Senior Draughtsman (fit-out) is responsible for producing detailed technical drawings and plans, providing guidance to the drafting team, and ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Technical Drawing:Produce detailed technical drawings, plans, and diagrams based on project requirements and design specifications.
• Team Supervision:Provide guidance and mentorship to draughtsman, overseeing their work quality and adherence to standards.
• Quality Assurance:Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design standards.
• Collaboration:Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into technical drawings.
• Software Proficiency:Utilize CAD software proficiently, implementing best practices and innovative techniques to improve efficiency.
• Documentation:Maintain organized documentation of drawings, revisions, and design changes.
• Primary Deliverables:Precise and On Time submission of any type of documents/reports/data. Complete tasks efficiently and stay within budget as part of your job responsibilities
• Secondary Deliverables:Provide input to other departments or parties as needed on time.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field. Minimum 6-8 years of experience in CAD drafting or a related role within the construction or fit-out industry. Proficiency in CAD software (Auto CAD, Solid Works, etc.) and other relevant design tools.
