Job summary

Atkins in the UAE seeks a Design Manager with extensive multi-disciplinary design delivery experience across the UAE and GCC. The role entails leading design teams, coordinating with the client’s technical team and project management to ensure design milestones and quality are met.

The successful candidate will oversee design coordination, maintain the Design Management Plan, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and project governance throughout the lifecycle of small to medium

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in the Middle East.
• Minimum 3 years of Design Management or similar roles.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary design delivery across UAE and GCC.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage overall technical input of the multidisciplinary design team.
• Create and maintain the Design Management Plan (DMP) with the Project Manager and design team.
• Coordinate interfaces between disciplines, sub-consultants, third parties and client requirements.
• Track design progress, identify risks and support mitigation actions.
• Ensure deliverables comply with regulatory requirements and the company PM methodology.
