ADVANCED CONCEPTS, part of EDGE, seeks an experienced PCB/embedded hardware engineer in Abu Dhabi. You will drive schematic capture, multilayer PCB layouts, and rigorous testing for high-end defense systems. Expertise in Altium, MIL-STD-1316, and FP/MCU integration is essential.

The role emphasizes designing for harsh environments, low EMI, and robust documentation, including BOMs and Gerber files. You will mentor junior staff and contribute to complex hardware development programs.

Competenze

• Bachelors or Masters in Electrical or Electronics engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in VHDL coding.
• Experience with defense PCB designs and high-reliability hardware.
• Proficient with Altium Designer and PCB layout best practices.
• Strong focus on signal integrity and EMI/EMC considerations.

Mansioni

• Schematic capture and layout using Altium Designer.
• Design electronic safety and arming devices per MIL-STD-1316.
• Implement PCB with FPGA/MCU and DDR memory integration.
• Create multilayer PCB layouts with blind/buried vias, BGA, SMT/PTH.
• Design for harsh environments with specialized materials/techniques.
• Mentor junior engineers and document processes.
• Prepare data packs: BOMs, Gerber, assembly drawings.
• Support hardware testing with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
