Job summary

Decima International seeks a seasoned Project Director to oversee multiple Data Center construction projects for a premier technology client. This client-facing role requires expert management of scope, planning, budgets, and multi-project resources from inception through closure.

You will drive risk management, stakeholder communication, and ensure regulatory compliance while mentoring a team of project managers and coordinating BIM processes to ensure effective execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 20+ years of experience in construction project management, GCC & MENA focus.
• Fluency in English is a must.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple engineering and construction projects from inception to completion.
• Oversee all aspects of project management including scope, planning, budget, execution, resource allocation and closing.
• Prepare, review and manage RFIs, RFPs and submittals for competitive bids.
• Develop and maintain a risk register and mitigate identified risks.
• Conduct daily follow-ups with project managers to ensure milestones are met.
• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders on updates and concerns.
• Oversee project budgets and ensure expenditures stay within budget.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, federal regulations and company standards.
• Oversee BIM coordination and ensure integration of BIM data into project execution.
• Lead and mentor a team of project managers and develop their career plans.
• Produce detailed project performance reports for senior management.
