Job summary

Tanqeeb seeks a Senior Credit Documentation Officer in Abu Dhabi to act as the final filter in limit approvals, ensuring documentation is complete, enforceable, and compliant with credit policies.

You will maintain securities, update risk ratings and expiry dates, and support the Team Leader in implementing SOPs and addressing exceptions. Strong policy knowledge and Arabic proficiency are valued.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years banking experience with 3+ years in credit documentation.
• Understanding of Bank policies and product knowledge.
• Knowledge of Islamic credit products.
• Fluent English; knowledge of Arabic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure terms in Credit Approval are complied with and securities and documents obtained prior to releasing limits.
• Prepare and review FOL/Agreements/Security documents under supervision.
• Update systems with credit information (risk rating, expiry dates, collateral).
• Assist Team Leader in timely implementation of Credit Review/Audit recommendations.
• Provide best customer service to business partners and maintain SLA turnaround times.
• Assist Manager in formulating and implementing SOPs for the department.
• Support Team Leader in completion of assigned projects.
• Identify irregularities and log them into the exception report with approvals.
• Update daily activity log.
• Ensure safe custody of all credit and security documentation for the segment.
• Prepare documentation checklists for clients in the segment.
• Process release of security requests after approvals and settlements.
• Act as backup Custodian for security chubb keys.
• Report customer exposure details to Central Bank.
• Report overdue exceptions to Business and Risk Managers monthly.
