Job summary

Mace is seeking a Cost Manager to join our Abu Dhabi team on a landmark city centre development. You will lead cost control, budgeting and procurement strategies across multiple workstreams, directing disciplined teams to meet KPIs and maintain strong stakeholder alignment.

This role requires MRICS membership and Middle East experience, with a focus on safe, compliant delivery. Join us in shaping iconic spaces in Abu Dhabi while driving value management and cost planning across all project

Qualifications

• Degree in quantity surveying / cost management is required.
• MRICS membership or equivalent is required.
• Middle East experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety, wellbeing, inclusivity and responsible delivery across every project.
• Deliver projects through clear planning, quality systems and stakeholder collaboration.
• Supervise change and commercial performance with integrity.
• Lead teams to achieve KPIs and share best practice across Mace.
• Deliver cost management services across all project phases and sectors.
• Lead discipline-specific areas using advanced technical expertise.
• Conduct feasibility studies and advise on procurement and contract strategies.
• Apply value management techniques to optimize outcomes.
• Manage estimating and cost planning, presenting final cost plans to stakeholders.
• Oversee contract documentation and ensure compliance and execution.
• Maintain cost control throughout the contract lifecycle and monthly reporting.
• Mentor Cost Consultants and drive process improvements aligned with net zero.
