Job summary

Mace Group is seeking a Lead Cost Consultant to join our Abu Dhabi team and drive cost management across major city-center developments. You will lead cost planning, procurement advice, and commercial performance with integrity, mentoring junior Cost Consultants and delivering value from feasibility through to contract execution.

To succeed you will hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management, be MRICS accredited, and have Middle East experience.

• MRICS membership (or equivalent).
• Middle East experience is essential.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead discipline‑specific areas using advanced technical expertise.
• Conduct feasibility studies and advise on procurement and contract strategies.
• Apply value management techniques to optimize project outcomes.
• Manage estimating and cost planning, presenting final cost plans to stakeholders.
• Oversee contract documentation, ensuring compliance and formal execution.
• Maintain cost control throughout the contract lifecycle, including monthly reporting.
• Mentor Cost Consultants and drive process improvements aligned with net zero.

You’ll need to have:

• Degree in quantity surveying / cost management (or equivalent).
• Professional membership i.e. MRICS (or equivalent).
• Middle East experience is essential.
