Job summary

ADNOC Distribution is seeking an experienced contracts professional to oversee contract management, development, and procurement alignment. The role involves advising on contractual matters, negotiating with suppliers and contractors, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.

You will support cross-functional teams, manage contract templates, and help resolve complex contractual issues while coordinating with legal, audit, and purchasing departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Law, or related field.
• 6 years of experience in contract management.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in MS Office and contract management software.
• Fluent in English; Arabic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate tender documents, bids, proposals, and quotations for technical and commercial compliance.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers and contractors.
• Monitor and manage performance of contracted parties to meet contract specs and schedules.
• Identify and resolve contractual issues, disputes, or claims and escalate as needed.
• Develop and update contract templates, forms, and procedures per procurement policies.
• Conduct market research to identify suppliers and establish long-term relationships.
• Provide input on procurement strategy, plan, and budget.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Legal, and Audit to ensure smooth contract processes.
• Provide expert advice on contractual matters and conduct training for staff.
