Job summary

KPMG Middle East in Dubai seeks an Assistant Manager to manage and monitor multiple engagements, ensuring on-time delivery and high quality within regulatory expectations.

You will train teams on regulatory changes in Financial Services, lead process improvements, and support business development with prospective clients.

Fluent English required; Arabic a plus; strong MS Office skills; prior team leadership in internal auditing and ICOFR environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting or auditing is required.
• Professional qualifications such as CIA/CA/ACCA/CISA/CFE/CRMA/BCM/CCGP are preferred.
• 6–7 years in Internal Audit / ICOFR / ERM / governance, preferably in consulting or financial institutions.
• At least 6 months in an assistant managerial role.
• Fluent English; Arabic knowledge is a plus.
• Strong MS Office skills and experience leading teams on multiple engagements.
• Analytical mindset with leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor multiple engagements and teams to deliver on time and with quality.
• Train and update teams on regulatory changes affecting Financial Services clients.
• Lead initiatives to increase efficiency and standardize workpapers.
• Support risk management and engagement procedures across ICOFR and governance.
• Assist Partners and lead business development, including client meetings and pre-engagement tasks.
• Understand engagement management policies to streamline Advisory processes.
• Help implement new services, methodologies, and tools at KPMG.
