Job summary

KPMG Lower Gulf Limited is seeking an Assistant Manager to manage multiple engagements in Internal Audit, ICOFR, ERM and governance. You will support partners, mentor teams, and drive service delivery improvements within the Financial Services sector.

You will contribute to client engagement management, risk procedures and the adoption of KPMG methodologies. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.
• Professional certifications such as CIA/CA/ACCA/CISA/CFE/CRMA/BCM/CCGP.
• 6–7 years in Internal Audit, ICOFR, ERM, Corporate Governance, QA; preferably in consulting or financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor multiple engagements/teams to deliver on time and quality.
• Train/update teams on regulatory changes affecting Financial Services clients.
• Lead initiatives to improve service delivery, e.g., digital shift and standardization of workpapers.
• Perform internal risk management and engagement procedures for ICOFR, KPMG policies, and governance reviews.
• Support Engagement Partners and lead business development with prospective clients in Financial Services.
• Understand engagement management, quality and risk policies to streamline Advisory processes.
• Assist Partners, lead and implement new services, KPMG methodologies and tools.
