Job summary

KPMG Lower Gulf in Dubai seeks an Assistant Manager to oversee multiple engagements in Internal Audit and ICOFR, delivering high-quality work on schedule. You will guide teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to risk management and client engagement processes in the Financial Services sector.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accountancy or related field, 6–7 years of IA/ERM experience, and strong English communication. Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy or related field.
• Credentials such as CIA/CA/ ACCA/ CISA/ CFE/ CRMA/ BCM/ CCGP are preferred.
• 6–7 years of experience in Internal Audit, ICOFR, ERM, Governance or related fields.
• Minimum 6 months in an assistant managerial role.
• Excellent English communication; Arabic is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor multiple engagements and teams to deliver on time and quality.
• Train and update teams on regulatory changes and trends affecting Financial Services clients.
• Lead initiatives to increase efficiency, including digital shift and standardizing workpapers.
• Support internal risk management and engagement procedures for IA, ICOFR, and governance.
• Assist Engagement Partners and lead business development with Financial Services clients.
• Foster adoption of KPMG methodologies and tools within Advisory.
