Job summary

Waagner Biro Bridge Services is seeking an experienced Construction Manager in Dubai to lead complex bridge and infrastructure projects. You will oversee all phases from conception to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction while coordinating with contractors, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders.

The role requires 10+ years of construction management, strong budget and schedule oversight, and deep knowledge of UAE building codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of hands-on construction management experience.
• Experience in contract administration or resident engineer roles.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to manage budgets and cost control measures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to execution, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
• Manage construction teams and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and contract documents.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules and budgets, and monitor cost performance.
• Manage contract administration, including reviewing specifications and handling change orders.
• Coordinate with clients and regulatory bodies to obtain permits and approvals.
• Lead project meetings and provide transparent updates to stakeholders.
• Mentor and support project teams and maintain thorough project records.
