Job summary

AECOM Middle East Ltd is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of major construction packages in Abu Dhabi Emirate, UAE. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage contractor performance, and ensure milestones, budgets, and safety standards are met.

The ideal candidate brings 20+ years in building projects, strong knowledge of UAE construction standards, FIDIC contracts, and demonstrated ability to lead complex programmes with stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline with 20+ years of building engineering, construction supervision, and major project management experience.
• Extensive knowledge of UAE construction standards, local regulations, FIDIC practices, and contractor management.
• Strong analytical, reporting, leadership, and decision-making capabilities for demanding site environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of construction packages against time, cost, quality, and performance targets.
• Supervise contractors and ensure works meet contracts, drawings, and milestones.
• Direct the supervision team and coordinate day-to-day inspection across the project.
• Maintain safety leadership and ensure compliance with health and safety obligations.
• Administer FIDIC-based or standalone contracts per requirements.
• Develop budgets, schedules, resource plans, and delivery strategies with project managers and engineers.
