The Senior Project Manager will take overall responsibility for the time, cost, quality, safety, and contractual performance of assigned construction packages. The role requires strong control of site supervision, contractor activities, technical coordination, commercial matters, programme performance, and communication with the client. Acting as a senior point of authority, the position will ensure project teams remain focused on approved objectives while emerging risks, delays, scope changes, and technical issues are addressed before they affect delivery. The manager will also establish key execution, safety, and quality plans while directing the performance of site personnel and maintaining transparent reporting to senior management and the client.
Candidates should hold a Bachelor 's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. A Master 's Degree will be considered an advantage. The role requires at least 20 years of professional experience in building engineering, construction supervision, and management of major projects. A strong track record delivering complex building developments in the Middle East is essential. Candidates should possess comprehensive knowledge of UAE construction standards, local building regulations, construction methodologies, quality control procedures, and contractor management practices. Advanced project management capability is required, particularly in budget control, programme management, resource planning, risk resolution, client coordination, and management of multiple construction priorities. Practical knowledge of FIDIC contracts is particularly important. The successful professional should also demonstrate strong analytical judgment, technical reporting capability, leadership experience, and the ability to make informed decisions in demanding site environments.
