Job summary

Abu Dhabi Manpower Supply in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Senior Commissioning Supervisor to lead commissioning activities for rotating and static equipment, ensure alignment with drawings and standards, and coordinate with vendors.

You will report to the Senior Project Commissioning Manager, supervise discipline Supervisors and Technicians, prepare method statements, monitor progress, and ensure HSE compliance across all phases of commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Perform rotating equipment activities: lube oil flushing, alignment, lubrication, vibration checks, start-up
• Perform static equipment activities such as vessel internals installation per drawings
• Perform mechanical interlock, pipeline pigging, spring support, hot and cold setting
• Perform air blowing, flushing, leak testing, flange management, drying and inserting of piping
• Produce project specific procedures, preservation and maintenance check sheets
• Identify and resolve technical problems with equipment and packages, or coordinate with vendor
• Preserve and maintain rotating equipment after commissioning
• Lead a team of technicians to undertake commissioning activities
• Interface with other disciplines to ensure integration of activities
• Prepare method statements, procedures and routines where required
• Report on work progress, flag potential problems or delays and recommend solutions
• Plan, monitor and assist in vendor activities
• Ensure temporary supplies and commissioning spares are adequate for subsystem testing
• Perform inter-discipline checks
• Identify design failures and lessons learned
• Comply with HSE standards
