Job summary

Abu Dhabi Manpower Supply seeks an experienced commissioning professional to ensure tasks are executed per standards and procedures. You will lead technicians, organize instrument commissioning, test subsystems, and coordinate with APC, DCS, PLC and ESD systems.

You will ensure HSE compliance and report progress to the Project Commissioning Manager. Receive and understand project scope, prepare method statements, and interface with other disciplines to secure seamless integration and timely

Responsibilities

• Ensure PPE, PTW and HSE requirements are followed at worksite
• Prepare and write testing procedures when required
• Implement and test subsystems per project commissioning test sheets
• Organize and perform instrument commissioning, SAT, loop and functional tests
• Work on APC, DCS, PLC and ESD control systems
• Assist in database preparation for pre-commissioning status index
• Report to line superior per project organization chart
• Receive project documentation and understand scope of work
• Lead a team of technicians to undertake commissioning activities
• Interface with other disciplines to ensure integration of activities
• Prepare method statements, procedures and routines where required
• Report on work progress, flag potential problems or delays and recommend solutions
• Plan, monitor and assist in vendor activities
• Ensure temporary supplies and commissioning spares are adequate for subsystem testing
• Perform inter-discipline checks
• Comply with HSE standards
• Reports to: Project Commissioning Manager. Supervises: Discipline Supervisors and Technicians.
