Job summary

Tanqeeb seeks a seasoned Section Head – Commercial Initiatives in Abu Dhabi to lead commercial strategy, business development, and partnerships for a major construction project. The role demands 6+ years of experience in commercial management within construction/infrastructure and strong financial acumen.

You will develop strategies, manage relationships with government entities, contractors and private sector partners, and drive profitable initiatives. MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field required or equivalent.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in commercial management, business development or related function.
• Strong experience within the construction/infrastructure sector.
• Strong financial and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• MBA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities, markets, projects and growth areas.
• Lead strategic partnerships with government entities, contractors, vendors and private-sector stakeholders.
• Drive business development initiatives and commercial proposals.
• Conduct financial feasibility, profitability and risk analysis.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts with external partners.
• Monitor commercial performance and report against KPIs and targets.
• Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
