Job summary

Confidential Government Entity in Abu Dhabi is seeking a dynamic Section Head – Commercial Initiatives to lead business development, commercial strategy, and stakeholder engagement across major infrastructure and capital projects.

The role emphasizes building strategic partnerships, conducting commercial analyses, and delivering commercially viable solutions that align with organizational objectives. UAE National candidates with 7+ years in commercial management are preferred; MBA is a plus.

Qualifications

• UAE National (Family Book required).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 7 years in commercial management, business development, strategic partnerships, or related field.
• Strong understanding of commercial strategy, financial analysis, and business planning.
• Experience within government, infrastructure, construction, real estate, or capital projects sectors is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and growth initiatives.
• Lead business development efforts and support the successful delivery of commercial initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities, contractors, consultants, and key stakeholders.
• Conduct commercial, financial, and feasibility analyses to support decision-making.
• Negotiate and finalize commercial agreements and partnerships.
• Monitor the performance of commercial initiatives and recommend continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that support organizational growth.
