Job summary

Gulf Contracting & Landscaping (GCL) is seeking an experienced Commercial Lead for its high-rise building division in the UAE. The role oversees the commercial function across multiple projects, ensuring robust contract administration, accurate reporting, and effective procurement and risk management.

The ideal candidate has a BSc in Quantity Surveying, 10+ years in the field with 7+ in the UAE/GCC, and strong English communication skills. MRICS/MAIQS-CQS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying is mandatory.
• 10+ years of overall experience with at least 7 years in the UAE/GCC.
• Strong high-rise building experience with a main contractor or contracting establishment.
• Fluency in English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• MRICS or MAIQS-CQS qualification is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead the commercial function across multiple projects.
• Oversee contract administration, reporting, and commercial controls.
• Manage subcontract procurement, bonds and insurance matters.
• Coordinate with Head of Contracts and Commercial and project teams.
