Job summary

Al Tayer Group is seeking a Post Contract Commercial Lead in the United Arab Emirates to lead the commercial team on large-value projects. You will oversee post-contract quantities, manage variations, and coordinate with the project team to protect commercial interests.

The role requires 7–10 years of post-contract Quantity Surveying experience and strong knowledge of contract administration, with an emphasis on claims, cost reporting, and timely submittals to clients and employers.

Qualifications

• Graduate in construction discipline or equivalent.
• 7 to 10 years relevant experience with a minimum of 7 year experience in post contract Quantity Surveying.
• Local market knowledge would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assess tender BOQ vs IFC information to update the BOQ.
• Prepare sub-contract orders and purchase orders; including drawings, Programme & BOQ’s.
• Prepare monthly project valuation and to ensure timely submittal to the employer.
• Review and issue monthly payment certificates to subcontractors based upon the progress of works at site.
• Prepare and conclude the subcontract and Employer final accounts upon project completion.
