Job summary

Emirates is seeking a Technical Manager – Cloud Infrastructure Engineering in Dubai to lead cloud strategy, drive automation, and partner with hyperscalers. You will shape the future of our cloud footprint and enable rapid delivery of innovative IT services.

You will design, engineer, plan, implement, operate and support technologies, ensure capacity and security, and guide a high-performance team to meet business goals in a dynamic airline environment.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Strong expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
Automation experience with Terraform and IaC.
Proven track record building hybrid cloud environments.
Hands-on VMware vSphere, vSAN, NSX-T knowledge.
Security-focused with zero-trust and threat defense awareness.

Responsibilities

Define KPIs and ensure timely reporting.
Ensure security policies and patches are applied.
Provide 3rd level support for cloud environments.
Collaborate with IT teams to deliver products and services.
Develop budgets and manage TCO; cost control.
Lead vendor management and contract negotiations.
