Job summary

Emirates Group IT seeks a Senior Technical Engineer - Data Centre to strengthen its global IT architecture and network strategy. You will lead technical design, implement scalable solutions, and mentor engineers, ensuring high availability and security across enterprise systems.

The role emphasizes collaboration across infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams, with a focus on cutting-edge network technologies and performance optimization. Dubai-based with travel benefits.

Qualifications

Degree or Honours (12+3) or equivalent Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
VCDX-NV or VCP-NV certification in VMware NSX-T.
5+ Years of VMware technology with NSX-T design, administration and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Provide expert technical consultancy and lead the project team in work packages.
Develop IT solutions that meet customer requirements and align with technical strategy.
Ensure architecture meets service levels for availability, capacity, continuity, security, and performance.
Develop solution architectures using established EA standards for projects.
Collaborate with IT teams to monitor technology and incidents.
Guide Project Manager/Tech managers on design and development of in-house solutions.
Resolve incidents within service levels and manage changes in the tech area.
Publish documentation and data catalog following templates and guidelines.
