Job summary

Al Musahim Investment LLC - Sole Proprietorship LLC is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to plan, design, supervise civil construction and infrastructure projects from inception to completion in Abu Dhabi. You will review drawings, BOQs, specs, cost estimates and schedules, while coordinating with contractors and authorities to ensure quality and compliance.

Candidates should have 8–10 years in civil construction, UAE experience preferred, and be fluent in Arabic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• 8–10 years of relevant civil construction, infrastructure, or building projects experience.
• UAE experience preferred, particularly Abu Dhabi.
• Arabic speaker with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Abu Dhabi Municipality registration/classification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards, building regulations, and authority requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant engineering/project management software.
• Ability to read, interpret, and review engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Strong project coordination, problem-solving, planning, and site management skills.
• Willingness to work on-site in Abu Dhabi and manage project activities as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan design and supervise civil construction and infrastructure projects from inception to completion
• Prepare and review project drawings BOQs specifications cost estimates schedules and technical reports
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor construction progress quality and workmanship
• Ensure all construction activities comply with UAE building codes Abu Dhabi regulations safety standards and approved drawings
• Coordinate effectively with contractors consultants subcontractors suppliers and other project stakeholders
• Review and approve construction drawings, material submittals, method statements and technical documentation
• Monitor project timelines costs resources and overall progress identifying and resolving issues promptly
• Ensure proper selection and application of construction materials and methods
• Coordinate civil works with strong MEP systems to avoid conflicts and ensure smooth project execution
• Liaise with relevant authorities and support the approval and inspection process where required
• Identify site issues technical problems and variations and recommend appropriate solutions
• Maintain accurate project records inspection reports progress reports and other engineering documentation
• Ensure adherence to health safety environmental and quality requirements throughout the project
• Provide technical guidance to site teams and ensure work is completed according to project specifications
• Attend project meetings and provide regular updates to management regarding project progress and challenges
