Job summary

Tornado Group in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale civil construction projects, ensuring time, cost, quality and safety targets are met.

The role requires coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with UAE codes and FIDIC contracts, with a strong track record in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects. PM certification (PMP/PRINCE2) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• PMP / PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 5 years as a Project Manager in the UAE.
• Proven track record in delivering large-scale residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
• Budget & Cost Control: Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets; manage procurement; implement cost-saving strategies.
• Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead multidisciplinary teams; assign tasks; monitor performance; coordinate across design, procurement, and site teams.
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as main contact with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities; conduct progress meetings and provide updates.
• Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure adherence to local regulations; oversee quality inspections and health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare weekly/monthly project reports and maintain contractual, financial, and operational records.
