Job summary

Khansaheb Group is seeking a Civil Engineer to maintain and manage the structural integrity and civil assets across facilities in Dubai. The role focuses on civil maintenance, inspections, envelope upkeep, and infrastructure management to ensure safety, compliance, and operational readiness.

You will collaborate with facilities teams, contractors, and service providers, driving preventive maintenance programs, defect analysis, and cost-controlled restoration projects to extend asset lifecycles.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of hands-on civil engineering experience in facilities management or building maintenance.
• Experience managing civil assets, building fabric maintenance, and facility infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine visual inspections and non-destructive assessments of civil and structural elements.
• Identify defects such as cracks, dampness, water leakage, and settlement; document findings and recommended solutions.
• Supervise maintenance of roofs, walls, cladding, waterproofing, and building envelope components.
• Oversee external civil infrastructure maintenance including drainage, roads, parking, and walls.
• Develop and monitor Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) using CAFM/CMMS systems.
• Review and prioritize reactive maintenance work orders; ensure timely completion and quality checks.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis for recurrent defects and provide long-term solutions.
• Prepare BOQs and cost estimates; coordinate with procurement and contractors.
• Support CAPEX and OPEX planning and asset lifecycle management.
