Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineering certification is preferred.
• 10-15 years of overall experience in construction supervision and project delivery.
• Previous experience with PMC, Consultants, or engineering organizations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, review, and report on construction progress to ensure works are executed in accordance with the approved schedule and project requirements.
• Perform and oversee daily site supervision activities, including inspections, witnessing field and laboratory tests, monitoring concrete works, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Supervise construction activities on site to verify compliance with contract documents, specifications, approved drawings, and method statements.
• Inspect works based on approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and advise the Resident Engineer on readiness of works for final inspection and approval.
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved method statements and remind contractors of project procedures and requirements.
• Monitor construction schedules and follow up on activities to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of assigned work packages, responsibilities, and project requirements.
• Collaborate with QA/QC Engineer to ensure works meet quality standards and are documented.
• Review red-line markups and as-built records; ensure contractor submissions are updated.
• Identify and report discrepancies and construction-related issues for corrective action.
• Verify that adequate health, safety, and environmental measures are implemented by the contractor.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and support safe execution on site.
• Assist RE in coordinating multidisciplinary interfaces and resolving site coordination issues.
• Maintain accurate records of site-related issues, instructions, and communications.
• Review contractor submissions, inspection requests, and documentation relevant to civil construction activities.
• Ensure contractor compliance with contract requirements, drawings, specifications, and project procedures.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports highlighting project status, risks, and actions.
