Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Abu Dhabi seeks an Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE) - Civil to support the Resident Engineer in supervising civil construction activities, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, QA/QC, and safety requirements on large-scale infrastructure projects.

The role involves daily site supervision, inspections, testing, coordination with design teams and contractors, and reporting project progress.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Professional Engineering certification is preferred.
GCC/UAE project experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor construction progress and report against schedule.
Oversee site inspections, testing, and QA/QC documentation.
Supervise site activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specs and method statements.
Maintain ITPs and ensure contractor readiness for inspections.
Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces and assist RE with delegated tasks.
Review contractor submissions and ensure contract compliance.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports.
