AtkinsRéalis in Abu Dhabi seeks an Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE) - Civil to assist the Resident Engineer in supervising civil construction, ensuring works meet drawings, specs, and schedules. The role emphasizes site oversight, inspections, testing, QA/QC, risk management, and coordination across disciplines.

The candidate will lead daily site activities, review ITPs, maintain records, coordinate with contractors and design teams, and support contract administration and reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineering certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor construction progress and supervise site activities.
Ensure QA/QC documentation and tests are completed.
Verify HSE measures and safety compliance.
Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces and contractor communications.
Review contractor submissions and track contract requirements.
Prepare daily to monthly progress reports highlighting risks.
