Parsons is seeking an experienced Assistant Resident Engineer (Civil - Infrastructure) in the UAE to lead supervision of roads and infrastructure works and to act on behalf of the Resident Engineer during absences. The role requires coordinating with engineers, reviewing shop drawings, and ensuring safety and quality standards on site.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 10+ years’ design, site supervision, and construction management experience.
• At least 2 years of proven supervision experience on large-scale infrastructure projects within Abu Dhabi.
• Ability to review material submissions, analyze laboratory/technical reports, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Knowledge of contractual relationships and project reporting.
• Proficient in computer literacy and project-specific engineering software.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken, with strong technical communication.
• Available to work in the UAE.
• Knowledge of QA/QC and Statistical Quality Control.

Responsabilidades

• Report to the Resident Engineer and assist in supervising the construction of roads and infrastructure works.
• Act in place of the Resident Engineer during leave or absence.
• Coordinate activities with other engineers and the supervision team.
• Review shop drawings, design proposals, method statements, and correspondence for utilities.
• Coordinate with design engineers for issue resolution.
• Maintain daily diary and inspectors’ reports.
• Coordinate with contractor engineers on scheduling and resource use.
• Direct and monitor inspectors and surveyors as applicable.
• Convene meetings with service authorities, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of records and drawings.
• Oversee safety implementation and achieve safety goals on site.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Provide on-site direction and issue site instructions to utilities works.
