Job summary

Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, is seeking an experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join our Culinary team. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality dishes, maintaining standards, and supporting the Sous and Head Chefs.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years in a senior role in a luxury hotel, strong knowledge of international cuisine, HACCP compliance, and a talent for coaching multicultural teams while maintaining a positive work culture.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience as a Senior Chef de Partie or ready for the next step in a luxury or 5-star hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of international cuisine.
• Excellent understanding and application of HACCP and food safety standards.
• Proven ability to supervise, coach, and develop multicultural kitchen teams.
• Experience managing stock, food cost, and kitchen administration.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to perform efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Passion for culinary excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes per recipes and standards.
• Supervise daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth service.
• Coach and motivate Chef de Parties, Demi Chefs, and trainees.
• Monitor food preparation for quality, consistency, and portions.
• Ensure HACCP, food safety and hygiene compliance.
• Maintain stock levels and assist with inventory control.
• Assist menu development with new dishes and seasonal specials.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is used correctly and maintained.
• Coordinate with other kitchen sections and service teams.
• Support training and maintain a positive team culture.
