Job summary

Our client, a UAE-based financial institution, seeks a senior business analyst to support wholesale banking transformation initiatives focused on trade finance and working capital. You will gather requirements, document processes, and coordinate solution delivery with Technology, Operations, Risk and Compliance teams.

The role requires 5+ years in banking/FS, strong domain knowledge, and proven ability to run workshops and manage multiple workstreams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' relevant experience in banking and financial services, at Assistant Manager level or above.
• Strong trade and working capital knowledge: trade finance, guarantees, funded trade, receivables or supply-chain finance.
• Excellent business analysis and transformation delivery capabilities.
• Experience documenting current and target-state processes, process maps, SOPs, working instructions, roles, controls, and operational requirements.
• Ability to independently facilitate workshops, engage senior stakeholders, and manage multiple activities with limited supervision.

About the Role

We are searching on behalf of our client for this role. This position is not with OVI.
Support a portfolio of wholesale banking transformation initiatives at a UAE-based financial institution, with a focus on trade finance and working capital. You will work alongside business and product owners and the Technology, Operations, Risk, and Compliance teams to define requirements, document processes, and support solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Document current and target-state processes, including process maps, SOPs, working instructions, roles, controls, and operational requirements.

Your Profile

• 5+ years' relevant experience across banking and financial services, business analysis, transformation, or technology-enabled change, at Assistant Manager level or equivalent and above.
• Strong trade and working capital domain knowledge: trade finance, guarantees, funded trade, receivables or supply-chain finance, and the platforms and processes behind them.
• Strong business analysis and transformation delivery capability: requirements gathering, business requirements, use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules.
• Experience documenting current and target-state processes, process maps, SOPs, working instructions, roles, controls, and operational requirements.
• Experience supporting solution delivery through UAT preparation and coordination, requirements clarification, defect resolution, and business readiness.
• Able to independently facilitate workshops, engage senior stakeholders, and manage multiple activities with limited supervision.
• Strong written English and the ability to produce high-quality business documentation.

• Competitive compensation of AED 20,000 – 25,000 per month.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking and financial services, particularly in trade finance and working capital. They should possess excellent business analysis skills and be adept at managing multiple workstreams independently. Prior experience in the UAE or GCC banking sector is highly desirable, along with a stable career history and strong communication skills.
