Job summary

OVI, on behalf of a leading financial institution in the UAE, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support wholesale banking transformation initiatives with a focus on payments, cash management and transaction banking. The role involves gathering requirements, documenting processes, coordinating UAT, and engaging senior stakeholders across Technology, Operations and Risk.

A UAE/GCC banking background and strong English documentation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of corporate payments, collections, liquidity and account management, and transaction banking solutions, including digital channels.
• Prepare and coordinate UAT, clarify requirements with Technology, support defect resolution, and prepare the business for go-live.
• Run workshops independently and engage senior stakeholders.
• Manage multiple workstreams with limited supervision.

About the Role

We are searching on behalf of our client for this role. This position is not with OVI. Support a portfolio of wholesale banking transformation initiatives with a focus on payments, cash management, and transaction banking. Collaborate with business and product owners, as well as Technology, Operations, Risk, and Compliance teams to define requirements, document processes, and support solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements, use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules for payments and cash management initiatives.
• Document current and target-state processes, including process maps, SOPs, working instructions, roles, controls, and operational requirements.
• Support delivery of corporate payments, collections, liquidity and account management, and transaction banking solutions, including digital channels.
• Prepare and coordinate UAT, clarify requirements with Technology, support defect resolution, and prepare the business for go-live.
• Run workshops independently and engage senior stakeholders.
• Manage multiple workstreams with limited supervision.

Your Profile

• 5+ years' relevant experience in banking and financial services, business analysis, transformation, or technology-enabled change.
• Strong domain knowledge in corporate payments, collections, liquidity and account management, and transaction banking.
• Proven capability in requirements gathering and business analysis.
• Experience in documenting current and target-state processes.
• Ability to support solution delivery through UAT preparation and coordination.
• Strong written English and the ability to produce high-quality business documentation.
