Job summary

Via Medica International Healthcare in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Billing Officer to manage all billings for the assigned business unit and coordinate with Client Services, Sales, and Operations. The role demands accurate data entry, timely invoicing, and close attention to supporting documents.

The ideal candidate will have a finance qualification with professional certification and at least 3 years in billing/collections, strong English, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Must have finance qualifications and professional certification (CA/CPA/ACCA/AGMA).
• 3+ years of hands-on billing and collections experience from external customers.
• Strong command of English (oral and written).
• Advanced Excel skills required; experience with SUN6 Billing / O2C ERP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Client Services, Sales and Operations to align billing requirements and generate invoices.
• Prepare, issue invoices based on contracts and customer purchase orders.
• Enter invoice data accurately into the accounting system.
• Review invoices for completeness and accuracy against supporting docs.
• Verify information on invoices against timesheets and other costs to prevent errors.
• Upload invoices and docs to client portals and monitor payment status.
• Review unbilled revenue monthly and follow up with stakeholders for timely invoicing.
• Streamline billing processes to improve efficiency and data quality.
• Support the Financial Controller / Working Capital Manager to achieve KPI targets.
