Qualifications

• Strong backend engineering fundamentals and a solid understanding of distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Go, or strong experience in C++ / Java with willingness to work primarily in Go.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, databases, caching, concurrency, and data consistency.
• Strong problem-solving, system design, project ownership, and production troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for Trading Risk, including risk monitoring, alerting, data services, and risk platform capabilities.
• Build and optimize real-time data processing pipelines with a focus on reliability, performance, observability, and data consistency.
• Independently own projects from technical design through deployment and production troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Risk, Data Platform, and other engineering teams on cross-functional projects.
• Participate in design reviews and continuous improvements in engineering quality and efficiency.
