Bybit is seeking a Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain trading risk backend systems in Abu Dhabi. You will own risk monitoring, alerting, and data services, ensuring reliable real-time data processing and data consistency across platforms.

The role requires strong backend fundamentals, practical Go experience (or readiness to work primarily in Go with C++/Java background), and collaboration with Risk and Data Platform teams to deliver high-impact, cross-functional projects.

Qualifikationen

• Strong backend engineering fundamentals and distributed systems
• Proficiency in Go, or strong experience in C++/Java with willingness to work primarily in Go
• Hands-on with Kafka, databases, caching, concurrency, and data consistency
• Strong problem-solving, system design, project ownership, and production troubleshooting
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for Trading Risk, including risk monitoring, alerting, data services, and risk platform capabilities
• Build and optimize real-time data processing pipelines, with a strong focus on system reliability, performance, observability, and data consistency
• Independently own projects from technical design and development through integration, rollout, and production troubleshooting
• Collaborate with Risk, Data Platform, and other engineering teams to deliver cross-functional projects
• Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, and continuous improvements in engineering quality and development efficiency
